Terms and conditions
To ensure that everyone can enjoy the event, guests are expected to show general courtesy in words and actions towards other guests and staff. The Volcano Express reserves the right to remove individuals who display inappropriate or threatening behavior and do not comply with the rules and safety guidelines of The Volcano Express and Harpa.
Please review your ticket purchase carefully at the time of purchase, as corrections may not be possible afterward. Pay close attention to the following:

By purchasing a ticket, the buyer agrees to follow national laws as well as the rules and safety guidelines of The Volcano Express during the event. Note that tickets for the event are sold in Icelandic krona (ISK) and therefore displayed price in other currencies can vary due to exchange rates.
If the ticket holder has sensitivities, allergies, and/or is sensitive to noise, lights, sudden movements in equipment, or other elements that may occur during the event, it is their responsibility to assess the conditions beforehand. Each ticket holder participates in the show at their own risk.
If the ticket holder has chronic back pain, is pregnant, or has medical conditions that The Volcano Express may cause discomfort, they are advised to select a wheelchair-accessible seat to experience the show without seat motion and climate effect system sensations.
Please note that late entry is not permitted after the event has started. We encourage ticket holders to arrive 10–15 minutes before the show.
Large bags and backpacks are not allowed in the venue.
It is not permitted to resell tickets for financial gain. If a ticket is sold for profit by anyone other than the event organizer, the event organizer reserves the right to cancel the ticket.
The event is restricted to guests aged 4 and older with a minimum height requirement of 100 cm. Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by a guardian aged 18 or older.
For the safety of guests, security surveillance is in operation during the show. Recordings are securely stored for a limited time with highly restricted access, unless required for investigative or legal purposes.
The Volcano Express does not guarantee reminders of the event via SMS or email. It is the ticket buyer’s responsibility to keep track of the event date and start time.
The event organizer is not responsible for personal belongings before, during, or after the event.
Harpa's ticket office, which sells tickets on behalf of the event organizer, processes personal information in accordance with applicable laws. See Harpa's Privacy Policy at harpa.is for more details.
Refund policy
If the event is canceled, ticket buyers will be offered equivalent tickets for the next available event, if possible, or a full refund.
A ticket or gift card purchaser has 14 days from the date of purchase to cancel their purchase and request a refund. This applies to all ticket purchases, whether made through The Volcano Express, Harpa, Tix websites, or at Harpa’s ticket office. Please note that this does not apply to tickets purchased when there are less than 14 days until the event.
To request a refund for a ticket or gift card within 14 days of purchase, the customer must send a request via email to midasala@harpa.is, including their name, email address, phone number, and ticket purchase details.
If the refund conditions are met, the purchase will be refunded within 14 days, using the same payment method as the original transaction.
Please note that tickets for the event are sold in Icelandic krona (ISK) and therefore the refund may vary due to exchange rate.
General terms for gift cards
The Volcano Express gift cards are valid for four years from the date of issue.
Gift cards can be obtained electronically, picked up at Harpa’s ticket office, or delivered by mail. There is no shipping fee for mailed gift cards.
Gift cards cannot be purchased using another gift card.
