How to get here

On foot

Reykjavík is really easy to get around on foot. Harpa sits in the heart of the city’s waterfront, overlooking Faxaflói bay. It’s a short walk from all the attractions of the capital, including Laugavegur and Austurvöllur square.

By bicycle or e-scooter

If you’re coming by bike, you’ll find cycle parking at Harpa’s east side and in the underground car park. Alternatively, pick up an e-scooter and drop it off outside of the concert hall. All you’ll need is an app like Hopp or Zolo.

Hop-On Hop-Off bus

Want to see more of the city while you’re here? Try Reykjavík’s Hop-On Hop-Off bus. Simply buy a 24- or 48-hour pass and see the capital’s top sights. There’s a convenient stop just outside Harpa.

Public transport

Harpa is a 5-minute walk from Lækjartorg, Reykjavík’s public transport hub. To get here, take a bus from anywhere in the city. Visit the Strætó website to plan your trip.

By car

We’d always recommend travelling to Harpa by sustainable transport. But if you’re coming by car, you’ll find underground parking beneath the concert hall.
